About GrowMyTube

GrowMyTube is a set of free tools for people who make YouTube videos: caption a clip, turn it into a Short, size a thumbnail or channel banner, convert or compress a file, and find something worth making a video about.

How we build

• On your device. Tools run in your browser using open web technology. Your files are not sent to our servers.
• Free to use. No account, no watermark. The site may show advertising to cover its costs.
• Kept current. YouTube changes its rules and sizes. When Shorts grew from 60 seconds to 3 minutes, our guides changed with them, and our size guides are checked against YouTube's own help pages.
• Plain about limits. Because your own device does the work, very large files can be slow. We say so on each tool page.

Open technology

Video tools use FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. Captions use the open Whisper speech model, and the background remover uses the open MODNet portrait model. We are grateful to the projects behind them.

Not affiliated

GrowMyTube is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC.
